Kim Carney has been a freelance writer for many years and is now a published author with two personal stories published in Chicken Soup For The Soul – “My Army Of Angels” in Miracles And The Unexplainable in 2022 and “The Strength Of Forgiveness” in Mom Knows Best in 2019. 

Kim’s story, “From Grief To Gratitude In Five Seconds” will be published in Chicken Soup For The Soul’s, 101 Ways To Think Positive which is scheduled for publication in February 2025.

Kim also has her own online entertainment magazine that supports independent artists of all genres – Virtuosity Arts & Entertainment Magazine. Kim has also been an Author On Staff at Artistic Echoes, a popular entertainment magazine based in the UK for several years.

In 2022, Kim launched her freelance writing business, #TenaciousK Ink, which offers ghost writing, content writing/SEO, copywriting and editing services. 

Kim is also working with Chicken Soup’s Jack Canfield on a book series to benefit independent artists – more updates on this exciting project coming in 2025!

Kim earned her certification in Digital Marketing through Cornell University in 2019, as well as her certification in Music Business through Berklee College of Music in March 2020.

Currently, Kim is bi-coastal, sharing her time between her family and friends in her home state of Colorado where she is currently caring for her elderly father and her three sons and three grandchildren who reside in Western New York.
